Tonight, I made a simple dinner based on random ingredients in my fridge. Surprisingly, it came out quite well. I found some old kale and sauteed it in olive oil, garlic, butter, and chicken broth. Then, I made tabasco mashed potatoes with heavy cream and a nice pat of butter. Finally, I pan fried some chicken breast with butter, oil, and onions, simmering it at the end in an impromptu sauce made of tomatoes, green bell pepper, olives, and garlic. Sauces are so easy to make with the food processor.
Overall, a relatively healthy meal (ignore the butter :P). Better than eating out!
