To The East

This post is long overdue considering we went to NY/Baltimore two weekends ago. Well, better late than never. Here is a speed post of what went down.

Thurs
- Arrived at JFK at 9pm, took cab to P's in East Village, went with P to Momofuku Saam Bar for a delicious late night dinner of many pork buns (my fav!), spicy sausage rice cakes (korean style), raw oysters, and jumbo crab claws. Stayed up late chatting with P and her friend while having a night cap (Badge did, not me).

Fri
- Woke up late, went to Dumbo to have lunch with Mason, ate fried oysters, cornbread, bbq pulled brisket sandwich and a slice of apple pie, walked back across the Brooklyn bridge with Badge and slowly made our way back up to E. village. Took nap in the afternoon, met up with Dave for drinks at cool nearby bar called Heathers that had no sign out front, moved it over to Motorino for delicious neopolitan pizzas. At this point, Badge and Dave broke off to visit a friend in Williamsburg while I met up with P at a bar in LES for her sister's birthday bash.

Sat
- Went to my baby shower (yay!) at Uttara's mom's house, ate scrumptious home cooked indian food, played hilarious games, ate many cupcakes.

My friends are the best.

Took cab to Penn station to catch train to Baltimore, were picked up at station by Aunt Kaye and Uncle Chuck, who drove us to a relative's chateau where we were staying. Went out to dinner with more relatives at chinese restaurant, watched many basketball playoff games on enormous home movie theater screen (we were crashing on the super comfortable lounge chairs), watched Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions into the wee hours of the morning.

Sun
- Went to Grandma Ann's unvieling, went to dinner with everyone for brunch, went back to house to hang out and nap, watched Tangled on demand (very cute), went out for dinner at crab house (packed away 5 crabs), then back to house for more basketball.

Mon
- Woke up and headed to airport to fly back to SD.

Many more pics posted here.
