Daily Obsessions: Baby Happy

Yesterday, we attended Kristin's baby shower which was held at Ron and Laura's place downtown. It was a blogger/amateur photographer's dream - so many cute things to photograph! Laura is undeniably the queen of entertainment. The thoughtful details she adds are worthy of any top professional. Look out Martha Stewart!

In honor of Simon, Kristin's Irish husband, there was a "Kiss Me I'm Irish" frog...

And other cute animals aplenty...

And of course some beautiful flowers...

Including a beautiful bouquet from Grandma Bea...

Food was a plenty, including platters of sandwiches, wraps, fruit, cheese, salad, and eggrolls...

Laura even made a yummy tofu and spinach lasagna (who knew lasagna could be so healthy and fresh)...

And my favorite portion of the meal...DESSERT! There was a "Happy Baby" carrot cake and a "Baby Happy" chocolate cake. Of course I had a slice of both :)...

Last but not least, there were presents. Oh boy were there presents. It made me wish I was the one having the baby, at least until Simon pointed out that the presents would be for the baby not me...
