Restaurant Review: K Sandwiches

Monday, May 2, 2011

On Saturday, we hung out with the family at the dog park, watching Truffles and Chofies galavanting around. Afterwards, we decided to try a nearby Vietnamese sandwich shop called K's Sandwiches. It seemed to have good reviews on Yelp and there were lots of people milling around outside so we decided to be adventurous.

At less than $3 a sandwich, this was a pretty tasty treat. I got grilled bbq pork. which was nicely balanced by the pickled daikon and smattering of veggies.

We also got taro cakes that appear to have been dipped in egg and sauteed. Also very tasty, esp with the sauce that was a bit sweet and spicy.

Lastly, we tried tofu spring rolls. Not so good. Very bland.

Overall, K's Sandwiches is a nice cheap spot for a quick bite. I would definitely stop by again if I were in the area.
